The Noble Pursuit
Alhamdulillah, we are delighted to share the success of our summer retreat, ‘The Noble Pursuit,’ which took place in the tranquil setting of Yarnfield Park, Staffordshire. This serene location provided the perfect backdrop for our attendees to immerse themselves deeply in Qur’anic contemplation.
The retreat revolved around an exploration of Surah Al Hujurat. Our primary objective was to enrich attendees’ understanding of Qur’anic teachings and their relevance to contemporary issues. We introduced the translation, commentary, and themes of Surah Al Hujurat, offering practical guidance on applying these teachings to daily life. This achievement was made possible through Allah’s (SWT) grace and next, the presence of esteemed speakers and teachers who shared their profound insights. We express our gratitude to Shaykh Haitham Al Haddad, Imam Abid Khan, Ustadh Rehan Salim, and Ustadh Hisham Abu Yusuf for their invaluable contributions, making the retreat a transformative experience for all who attended.

Moreover, our retreat aimed not only to nurture individual growth but also to cultivate unity and brotherhood among all attendees as ‘indeed the believers are one brotherhood’. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to ensure a holistic experience and nurture lasting bonds of camaraderie. Exciting outdoor activities such as combat archery and axe throwing added an engaging dimension to the retreat.
We are thankful for the opportunity to have hosted this retreat and are hopeful that it deepened attendees’ connection with the Qur’an, enhancing their spirituality and bringing them closer to Allah (swt) in all aspects of life.
