Our Islam 101 students will embark on a journey through the foundational aspects of Islamic knowledge. The modules for this year include:

• Fiqh al-Ibadaat (Fiqh of Worship) – Dive into the understanding of Islamic jurisprudence related to acts of worship, providing a comprehensive understanding of the rules and regulations that govern them.
• Tafsir: Surah al-Fatihah and the Last 10 Surahs – Explore the exegesis of Surah al-Fatihah and the last ten Surahs of the Quran, deepening your understanding of their meanings, contexts, and applications.
• Reliving the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ: Makkan Period – Study the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the Makkan period, gaining insights into his teachings, struggles, and triumphs.
• Aqeedah – Learn about the Islamic creed, exploring the fundamental beliefs that form the heart of a Muslim’s faith.

Our Islam 102 students will delve deeper into advanced Islamic studies. The modules for this year include:

• Usool al-Fiqh (The Foundations of Fiqh) – Study the principles of Islamic jurisprudence, learning how they form the basis for deriving legal rulings.
• Fiqh al-Mu’aamalat (Fiqh of Transactions & Dealings) – Learn about the Islamic rules and regulations related to transactions and interactions between people.
• Hadith – Delve into the study of Hadith, the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and their significance in Islamic practice and belief.
• Tazkiyah (Islamic Spirituality) – Engage with the Islamic science of spiritual purification, learning how to cultivate a pure heart and a strong relationship with Allah.
