This short course showcases the uncompromising journey of Imam Muslim and his tireless pursuit of sacred knowledge which lead to his writing of the authoritative collection of authentic hadiths known as Sahih Muslim upon which many commentaries were written by equally established scholars.

Meet the Instructor

Ustadh Amin Astewani began his study of the Islamic sciences with Dr Akram Nadwi in 2011. He then went on to study the Islamic sciences with numerous teachers in the UK and Turkey. His current focus is on the sciences of Hadith, Islamic history and Tazkiyah.

Ustadh Amin has taught at the Oak Tree Initiative and Guidance Hub in Manchester, as well as the Ihsan Institute in Birmingham.

Ustadh Amin also obtained a PhD in English Law from the University of Manchester in 2016, and currently works as a Lecturer in Law at Lancaster University Law School.
